KnicksCity.com, A History Of

The concept of Knicks City was first developed in early 2005 by now-Executive Director and Owner, Phil LoGrippo. Shortly thereafter, Chris Pereira was invited aboard the staff to help develop the site. The two shared the goal of developing a website devoted to their favorite NBA team, the New York Knicks. Despite being worked on and developed over the course of 3+ years and finally transformed into the fan blog it is today, the vision remains the same: to provide a one-stop resource for any Knicks fan looking for the latest news and rumors , message boards , and more. And we want you to be a part of it all.

We here at Knicks City are devoted to providing the best coverage possible — we love the Knicks as much as anyone, but take it all in stride as you can tell from our personable nature and willingness to poke fun at our favorite team. Oh, and for reference, The Face (as it has been designated by Chris), is simply the best emoticon ever, so it’s used wherever possible. And The Brown Shoe… well, we don’t really know where that came from, but it’s been around for ages. Don’t screw with The Shoe.
