Only 4 games out? |
|

Although its still a long-shot, even through our remarkably terrible stretch, we remain only 4 games back. With the heat playing houston and atlanta, and us the kings, we could potentially be just 2.5 games back going into the allstar break.
Does this team deserve to go to the playoffs with the team put out there, mostly no. But I am not going to say we are much worse than the bottom 10 teams in the east. We've been even with charlotte and the bulls, and we should be better than milwakee. If not for inconsistency, especially on the defensive end, Als, hughes, and duhons sucking and chucking, our team has bright moments. If coach gets his stuff together and lights a fire under gallo as our go to guy, and plays lee, chandler, nate, and hill a lot, we could be in a race for the last spot. Which is still our best shot at lebron.
So do you still have hope or have you abandoned that already?

ANTHONY RANDOLPH: 48minutes.net
Warriors beat writer Geoff Lepper writes, "it appears obvious from [Warriors GM] Larry Riley’s comments" that Anthony Randolph is on the trade block.

I'd be all for bringing this kid in. Send them Hill and Landry. Randolph would be NICE next to Lee.

OT: Kahn - I will not trade any of my core (Rubio, Flynn) |
|

Kahn said it's "too early to tell" if the upcoming trade deadline proves significant for his team, but he reiterated he will not trade any of his "core" players, such as Al Jefferson, Kevin Love and Jonny Flynn. How 'bout the draft rights to Ricky Rubio and Nikola Pekovic? "Certainly Rubio," Kahn said. "Pekovic, it's too early to see if he is or isn't."

Interestingly, Kahn's core doesn't include Sessions. Could he be made available to the Knicks? Anyone still interested in Sessions (long term contract aside)?

Lebron: New York has some really good shooters |
|

"I think they're trying to show LeBron that (Danilo) Gallinari is a good piece to build around," said the Cavs official. "I like him as a player but right now he's one-dimensional. And a lot of those other guys are free agents and won't be back. The Knicks are going to get someone this summer. I have no idea who that is but they're still a few years away from being a contender."
Judging from the way James acted and talked on Saturday, the Knicks appear to be the last thing on his mind. "They have some really good players, some really good shooters," James said when asked about the Knicks. "When they're not shooting the ball well, they're not very good because they don't get to the paint a lot."
